On March 25, 2021, the Seattle-based law firm Hagens Berman filed another class action lawsuit against Amazon, HarperCollins, Hatchette, MacMillan, Simon & Schuster, and Penguin Random House claiming a conspiracy to restrain price competition in the print and online print trade book market. This is the second lawsuit, the first, filed in January, claiming price-fixing in the digital market.
